Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Taylor became a partner with Riata Therapy Specialists in 2015 and is currently the primary director of the Grapevine location. He earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern in 2012 and before that obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Promotion from Oklahoma State University in 2009.

Matt played sports at both the high school and collegiate level and has found his new passion as a high level competitive CrossFit athlete. He volunteers as a camp counselor for kids with muscular dystrophy and helps to provide physically disabled kids with mobility tricycles through the Grapevine AMBUCS organization. Matt has obtained certifications in Dry Needling, Myofascial Decompression and Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy as well as obtaining his Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification. Matt married his wife Michelle in the summer of 2014 and enjoys watching her perform as a professional Ballerina with Texas Ballet Theater.
