TESTIMONIALS
“Thank you RTS Physical Therapy! I grew up in Colleyville, TX where I started swimming competitively at age 8. I continued swimming through high school at Nolan Catholic and college at Columbia University in New York. I am now a professional swimmer training for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Although swimming is a wonderful sport, doing it at a high level for almost 17 years has taken a toll on my body. I have experienced many overuse injuries in my shoulders, knees, and hips, and I have to work regularly to prevent these injuries from reoccurring. I currently live in Charlotte, NC, however, the doctors at RTS Therapy have been crucial in continuing my treatment and helping with recovery when I am in Texas. They have provided me with wonderful care and great resources to both treat my injuries and prevent them from returning. With their knowledge, care, and commitment to my success, I have been able to continue to train and compete at the highest national and international levels in swimming. ”
“I have to admit that when looking for someone to help me with any aspect of my training, whether it be my max dead lift, my swim technique, or my run fitness, I will only go with the very best, and that is why I have chosen to train with Fort Worth Strength & Conditioning, CrossFit Fort Worth, and the RTS Physical Therapy for all my strength and injury prevention. These guys build me up with my training, and after breaking my body down racing, they fix me up and get me back out training again! I couldn’t ask to be around a more knowledgeable and passionate group of people.”
“Maintaing an active lifestyle is very important to me. A very big part of that is my healthy addiction to racing mountain bikes. I race comptetively at the CAT 1 Level.
Unfortunately, I have been dealing with almost constant pain since breaking my neck about 5 years ago. With 6 screws in my neck, the doctors have tried everything; pain pills, physical therapy, etc. Nothing alleviated the pain. I recently started attending RTS Therapy. Thanks to RTS Therapy, this is the first time I have been pain free in 15 years and I can continue to train and race.”
“I have been a competitive and world class handgun athlete for years. I am also a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, so I know when training or rehabilitation is being performed correctly. The staff at RTS has treated me for several different sport related injuries and always got me back in the game. I rely on their expertise and knowledge to support me for training and competition. I am proud to say that I am part of the RTS Physical Therapy extended family.”
“The first time I walked into RTS Therapy I had been struggling with an on-going hip injury that no other PT could figure out. Dr. Matt really took the time to get to know me, my injury, and my goals beyond returning to sports. Eventually I graduated and was back out running, wakeboarding, swimming, and biking on my hip feeling back to 100%! A year later I finally went on to accomplish my goal of winning CG Games Finals! I would not be where I am today without RTS Therapy & the staff, so I can not thank them enough for their work, their care, and their support!!”
“A huge thank you to RTS Therapy & the staff, especially Dr. Matthew Taylor for helping me return as a healthy athlete! The first time I walked into RTS Therapy I had been struggling with an on-going hip injury that no other PT could figure out. Dr. Matt really took the time to get to know me, my injury, and my goals beyond returning to sports. Eventually I graduated and was back out running, wakeboarding, swimming, and biking on my hip feeling back to 100%! Months later I ended up injuring my shoulder while training for CG Games and knew that if I wanted a chance of bouncing back and competing in CG Games Finals 8 months later I needed to go to non-other than Dr. Matt. That year I went on to place 2nd in CG Games Finals, but my big victory from that weekend was taking 1st place in the event that I had been practicing when I injured my shoulder. A year later I finally went on to accomplish my goal of winning CG Games Finals! I would not be where I am today without RTS Therapy & the staff, so I can not thank them enough for their work, their care, and their support!!”
“Over the course of my career as a professional ballet dancer with the Texas Ballet Theater of Fort Worth and Dallas, I have endured numerous injuries that have had the potential to threaten my ability to perform. The doctors at RTS Physical Therapy have treated me consistently during this time and facilitated a return to performing at a high level through outstanding care and a commitment to new age and evidence based treatment. Recently I was unsure that I would be able to return to ballet after a traumatic neck injury, but with the help of RTS Physical Therapy I am now doing much better and am able to dance without pain or limitations.
RTS has provided me with not only the strength and mobility I have wished to achieve after injuries, but they have instilled in me the courage and confidence to work through the rigorous obstacles that are presented to me with such a physically demanding job. I am so grateful that the doctors at RTS are my Physical Therapists, and I know they will continue to be for the rest of my career including the days following!”
“Thank you so much for the sports assessment!!! You all do such an amazing job helping me understand the biomechanics of how my body moves, why I get hurt, and best of all, how best to strengthen and treat whatever ails me. I really appreciate all that you have helped me with!”
“As a professional ballet dancer, having physical therapists I can trust is crucial. I worked with physical therapist Matthew Taylor and could not have asked for better treatment. I think the doctors at RTS Therapy really listen and try to get to the bottom of the issue. Dr. Taylor gives plenty of time and attention to each of his patients. He uses several methods and treatments that are thought out and uniquely planned for each of his patient’s specific problems. I was experiencing pain in and around my hip that was also radiating pain down my hamstrings and adductors. I had been trying to push through the pain in my dancing but it made me nervous that I might further injure myself. After several months, the pain remained so I decided to finally get treatment. Dr. Taylor gave me confidence in my limitations. He gave me strength exercises to do in and out of the clinic. After several sessions with him and consistently performing the exercises he gave me at home, all my pain was gone.
Being in my profession, I have had a lot of experience with physical therapists. The doctors at RTS Therapy are unique in giving their time and energy to try to fully comprehend the problem and create exercises and therapy that will really work. I am so appreciative for the treatment and care I received and I would highly recommend these doctors.”
“First, I would like to thank you and all of your staff for the amazing service and care you provided me with my Physical Therapy after surgery. When I had doubt or concerns regarding my injury, your staff had all the answers and reassured me everything was ok and pushed me to continue to work hard while I was on the road to recovery. Each and every staff member from the front office to the Therapists had an intricate part of my recovery and went above and beyond to show they cared with enthusiasm. I would like to end with a quote that sums up RTS Physical Physical Therapy: ‘There are few, if any, jobs in which ability alone is sufficient, Needed, also are loyalty, sincerity, enthusiasm and team play.’ William B. Given, Jr.”
“I would like to take a quick moment and thank all of the great people that work at RTS Therapy. You all have helped me get back on my feet, so that I could get back to work and do my job. From the staff that meets you at the front door with a smile and knowing your name says a lot about how much you all care about people. The staff that works with you on your rehab explaining things to you as you go and ensuring you are preforming all movements correctly. Once again THANKS A MILLION. ”
“My name is Heath Moody and I wanted to share my extremely positive rehabilitation experience at RTS Physical Therapy in Southlake. On June 25th, 2013 I ruptured my Achilles tendon and on July 2nd I had it surgically repaired. Being that I was 34 years old with two young children and an active life style this was tough to deal with. I was told and read about the importance of good rehabilitation with this type of injury. I did not just want to be able to resume normal activity but wanted to resume the active lifestyle that I loved and that my children deserved. I desperately needed a Physical Therapist that was passionate about their patient’s recovery and that would strive for a quick recovery without compromising their health. I certainly found that when I walked into Rita Physical Therapy. Starting on day 1 of my therapy Matt Taylor and his team went right to work. They customized a rehabilitation program based on my goals, set expectations, and gave me a realistic timeline for my recovery. They were always very flexible and understanding of my scheduling challenges. They always kept me informed of my progress and were even very creative in designing workouts for me to do outside of their care. Not only was my rehabilitation experience very good Andrea and the front office support was painless as well. While at RTS I was able to watch others both young and old have the same type of experience that I was benefiting from. Even after my rehabilitation I have still been able to use Matt and his team as a resource. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for me.”
